Frequently asked questions
Key answers about steel-frame construction, our 2026 Promo and the process. Your question isn't here? Write to us →
How long does a steel-frame home last?
Galvanized S350 steel is designed for a lifespan of 100+ years. Unlike wood, steel doesn't rust, doesn't warp and isn't susceptible to pests or fungi. We give 50 years of warranty on the steel structure.
How long does construction take?
From groundbreaking to key handover approx. 3 months. Steel frame prefabrication runs parallel with foundation works — we don't waste time. Weather impact is minimal because the main part of the structure is prefabricated in the factory.
What does the €1,500/m² promo mean?
In our 2026 Promo we offer complete turnkey homes from €1,500/m². Included: foundation slab, steel structure, PIR panels, windows and doors, PUR insulation, drywall, all installations (plumbing, electrical, heating, AC, Smart Home), full bathroom and flooring. Not included: furniture, freestanding appliances, outdoor works. Fixed price, no surprises. Valid until 2026-12-31.
Are steel-frame homes energy-efficient?
Yes, significantly above average. The combination of PIR panels (λ 0.018–0.025 W/m·K) and PUR foam delivers very low heat losses. The homes easily meet energy efficiency standards. With an optional heat pump and photovoltaics, minimal to near-zero operating costs are achievable.
Are custom designs possible?
Yes. We have a catalog of optimized designs (fast start, lower risk), but we also build custom projects — different floor area, different layout, different facade. Steel frame technology is very design-flexible.
What requirements does the plot need?
A valid zoning plan or building permit for a single-family home. Load-bearing subsoil (verifiable on-site). Access to electricity and water. We help with formal preparation and choosing the optimal home positioning.
Do steel-frame homes burn?
Steel itself is non-combustible — unlike wood structures. With appropriate cladding (drywall, FIBO system panels), walls achieve required fire resistance classes per building codes.
Does the steel structure affect Wi-Fi and phone signal?
No. Profiles are very thin (0.8–1.6 mm) and the open frame construction allows radio signals to pass. In practice, residents report full Wi-Fi coverage and good mobile signal. For particularly dense structures, we recommend an additional mesh Wi-Fi router.
